Let's Arrange This
A private space to compare

How private are online couples questionnaires?

Check what your partner receives, what the service stores, who can use private links and when information expires. Look at your devices and copied files too. A report that shows only shared interests can still let someone infer preferences from their own answers and the result.

Ask who could learn what

“Private” can describe several different things. A tool might hide your full answer sheet from your partner while still storing it on a server. A shared result may be visible only with a private link, yet someone can still photograph the screen. These are separate questions, and one reassuring label does not answer all of them.

If a policy or result preview leaves a point unclear, you can choose not to submit sensitive information. You do not need to prove that a tool is insecure to decide it is unsuitable for you.

Limited results can still reveal preferences

Suppose a questionnaire shows a topic only when both people express interest. Someone who knows they selected Yes can learn something from seeing that topic appear. Selecting broad or permissive answers may increase what a person can infer. Hiding the raw answer sheet does not remove that possibility.

Let's Arrange This shows a limited report after both people submit. For intimacy, it compares only categories both enable and questions allowed by the chosen scope and each person’s comfort settings. Eligible Yes/Yes pairs appear as Both enthusiastic; eligible Yes/Maybe, Maybe/Yes and Maybe/Maybe pairs appear as Open to discussing. No, missing, skipped and inapplicable answers stay hidden. The report does not show individual intimacy answers, rejection counts or an intimacy percentage.

Those limits reduce what is directly displayed. They do not guarantee anonymity or prevent inference from overlap. Participate with someone you trust, and do not use broad answers as a way to inspect the other person’s interests.

Check how long answers and reports are kept

In Let's Arrange This, drafts and raw answers expire 30 days after the alignment is created. Finishing later, linking an account or starring a history entry does not restart that period. Saving a report never extends raw-answer retention.

The limited report normally expires at that same original deadline. If both people permit longer retention before submitting, a participant can explicitly Save the limited report for up to 12 months after completion. This retains the limited report, not the underlying answer sheets. Report recovery cannot recover expired raw answers.

Understand what removing, revoking and deleting do

Let's Arrange This controlIts scope
Remove from historyRemoves the entry, label and star from your private history; it does not erase your participation.
RevokeBlocks both people’s product access to the alignment and report.
Delete your participationRemoves your own participation information and closes the shared comparison. The other person’s own data keeps its original deadlines.

Remove from history

Its scope
Removes the entry, label and star from your private history; it does not erase your participation.

Revoke

Its scope
Blocks both people’s product access to the alignment and report.

Delete your participation

Its scope
Removes your own participation information and closes the shared comparison. The other person’s own data keeps its original deadlines.

Deleting an account also covers the participations you own through it, including those removed from its history. Signing into an account does not automatically link an unclaimed guest participation. Access can stop while storage removal is still pending; check the private receipt to see whether removal is pending or complete.

Read the current privacy policy for the full scope, including backup and operator information. A policy statement, encryption claim or automatic-expiry promise is not by itself an independent security assessment. This guide explains questions and product rules; it does not certify any service’s operational security.

You can decline the tool or a topic

You might say, “I would rather talk generally without storing detailed answers,” or “I am comfortable with this category, but I do not want to save the result for longer.” The other person can make a different choice for their own participation.

A useful questionnaire leaves room for that choice. If the sharing rules do not suit you, use a conversation or a short private checklist instead. Neither participation nor a shared result creates consent to intimacy.
